I was held hostage in my kitchen tonight; hence the lack of a viable blog post! 5 hours of baking and decorating, but it's a finished project! Now I get to enjoy at least 4 weeks of cake-free weekends! Don't get me wrong, I love this hobby, and I love that enough people know about it to let me create without having to eat the result! It'll just be nice to not have an icing bag in hand for a while! Next cake on the books... Minnie Mouse inspired!

This is so cool! I had to laugh though--I too do cakes! Well, I try really hard to do cakes, it is so fun and I am really interested, but I make due with cheep materials because the fancy stuff can get so pricey. But, I had to laugh about your comment with the bag of frosting...everytime there is an event I think in matter of cake hours that week---and then I don't even want to eat it!

Love it! I tried once to make a cake in the shape of a beehive and failed miserably. Ended up trying to patch the holes with icing and everything...ugh.
