I offered to lend my maternity clothes to my cousin tonight. I opened the Rubbermaid to check out the goods before handing them off. Oh, knife to my heart! I know I'm just loaning them and that I'll get them back, but I had a moment of hesitation all the same. I'm thinking of keeping my favorite shirt anyway-- a fitted black and white striped tank top with "baby" written in sliver across the chest. I LOVED to pair that with my black pregnancy yoga pants...
The down side of not being pregnant again: Never wearing my tub full of cute maternity clothes again.
The up side of not being pregnant again: That much closer to having mornings free for the gym... which equals new cute clothes!

Oh man, my littlest is almost 4. Next August pre-K begins, and I will have the entire morning to do whatever my little heart desires! I am right there with you!
ugg, our hearts are in deep discernment over here. health and the lot playing a large role in our family size. Its always so hard :(
Kelley, sorry to be absent from my blog reading for a few days. I always loved it when I was pregnant and could wear maternity clothes. I had some really cute ones too. I don't think I will be able to get a doll ready for your wee one in time for Easter. We have just been made redundant at work and now have to look for a new home and job. Things are very much up in the air at the moment and I won't have much crafting time until we get settled into our new home, once we find a home! would it be possible that I could do a doll and print later? Let me know. I am off to Chester today for a week, to find a house and won't be near a computer for a week, so I will look for an answer from you upon my return. Wish us luck! XXOO
I just passed my maternity clothes onto my sister (Tiffany) to borrow for her baby due in July. It is a little heartbreaking, we have no idea if or when we will have another. We are praying for the Lord's guidance there.
I kept my very favorites because I believe that if you let someone borrow something, you need to be OK with it not coming back. I can't live with resentment, so anytime we let someone borrow something or do business with friends and family we view it as service and are just grateful for any return we get.
I have felt that same pang when I've given away my kids' clothes. I so understand!

My littlest one is only 9 weeks old and I am already dreading getting rid of my maternity clothes. (You would think I would be sick of them right now!)
